- The Umbrella 買ったばかりの傘を盗まれた女性の話。映画のようで綺麗
- Blue Fins 捕鯨反対の思想を感じる
- Shooting Stars ギリシャでの観光中、カップルの喧嘩を目撃する
- L.A.Detective ここまで働かない探偵も珍しいだろう
- The Lost Ship 幽霊船、これは怖い。ラストの絵にビックリ

感想
- I Spy 間抜けなスパイの話
- Go Jimmy Go! 車椅子の少年が800m走で勝負。こういう話が出てくるのは、実にアメリカ的だなと感じる。実際、健常者よりも速いのでは？
- Do I Tell? もやもやエンド。悪友2人の悪行を指摘できず、警察に捕まる主人公。じゃあどうすればよかったの的な・・・
- Lost at Sea 嵐が来て若者たちが遭難する話。天候くらいはあらかじめ調べておこうね
- The Shipwreck Lost at Seaで懲りない若者たちが、また海に繰り出す。イルカと一緒に遊ぶ話。Danielaが何故か怒られるのがかわいそう
- Mystery on the Island 正義感に駆られた若者たちが、怪しげな男たちを追い掛ける話

感想
FRL(Foundations Reading Library) Level3を読む。アメリカ発の教材。
平易な単語で書かれており、内容的には薄くて読みやすいが、すっきりしないエンドが多い。それで？的な展開・結末になりがち。単語とページ数の制約でこうなるのかなぁ。
- Slam Dunk for Mark バスケットボール ＜ 病気のおばあちゃんの看護、という理由をみんなに説明すれば良いのに..
- Kung Fu Kid 調子に乗っているカンフークラブの男たちを、新入りくんが打ち負かす話
- A Good Friend 男に会うために、部屋を抜け出して怪我しちゃう女の子の話
- Quick Thinking これはスッキリエンド。友達みんなで協力して、バッグを盗んだ男を追跡する話。Danielaは良い子キャラ
- I Always Win! 自転車レースで優勝するために、ゴール直前で相手を突き飛ばす野郎の話。もやもやエンド
- Quiz Night クイズ大会に挑む若者の話。後味が良くない。Gemmaは悪役キャラ

- Toot the Horn 結果ではなくプロセスを重視してくれる、Mrs. Teaberry
- Paint the Porch リスとシマリスが駆け巡る。ラストにほっこり
- Catch the Cold これは特に好きだなぁ。隣人のMrs. Teaberryの機転、そしてZekeが良い仕事をする。ラストのシーンに感動
- Stir the Soup Zekeに振り回されるMr. Putter
- Make a Wish 持つべきものは良い隣人
- Spin the Yarn TabbyとZekeがやらかしたおかげで、Mr. Putterの株が上がった！
